Recipe Details:
If a traditional beef stew seems boring, try this diabetic-friendly recipe of beef in dark beer and tomato sauce. The dish turns out amazingly flavorful, savory and anything but boring! A wonderful main course for the whole family!


Ingredients:
  • Beef (cut into cubes) – 1 lb.
  • Bell pepper (cut into rings) – 1
  • Carrot (cut in medium pieces) – 1
  • Celery (sliced) – 1 stalk
  • Onion (cut into rings) – 1
  • Chili pepper (finely chopped) – one half
  • Dark beer – 500 ml
  • Tomato paste – 4 tbsp.
  • Cumin – 1 tsp.
  • Garlic (finely chopped) – 3 cloves
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Mix all the ingredients and put them in a greased baking dish.
    Step 2
    Pour in beer so that the meat is completely covered. Close the baking dish with aluminum foil or a lid.
    Step 3
    Preheat oven to 370 F. Bake for about 1.5 hours. If necessary, add more beer during the baking process.
    Step 4
    Remove the foil 15 minutes before the dish is ready. The meat should be tender and the sauce should thicken.
    Step 5
    When the dish is ready, remove from the oven, serve hot and enjoy!
