Recipe Details:Instead of a traditional cutlet, this diabetic-friendly burger has a whole chicken breast deliciously fried in egg and olive oil.
- Chicken breast – 2 (about ¾ lb)
- Oat flower – 3 tbsp.
- Wheat flower – 3 tbsp.
- Egg – 1
- Low-sodium cheese – 2 slices
- Lettuce leaves – 2
- Tomato – 2 slices
- Onion – 2 rings
- Olive oil – 4 tbsp.
- Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
- Whole wheat buns – 2
Recipe Directions:Step 1
Beat the chicken breast with a meat hammer, then salt and pepper it.
Dip the chicken breast in beaten egg.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Mix two kinds of flour together, then dip the chicken in the flour mixture and fry over high heat on both sides until tender for 5 minutes on each side.
Put the halves of the buns on the frying pan, on which you fried the chicken. Warm the buns up until the they get crispy on the outside.
Place a slice of cheese on the bottom part of the bun. Then put the chicken on the cheese.
Put the tomato slices and onion rings on top of the chicken and cover with the top bun. Serve and enjoy!
