Recipe Details:
An amazingly flavorful and diabetic-friendly tofu dish that is not hard to make and has a big chance to become your favorite tofu dish.


Ingredients:
  • Tofu – ½ lb.
  • Red onion (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic (grated) – 1 clove
  • Almond flour – 5 tbsp.
  • Sweetener – equivalent of 2.5 tsp of sugar
  • Fresh cilantro – 1 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 3-4
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
  • Sesame oil – ¼ tsp.
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp.
  • Fresh ginger root (grated) – 1 tsp.
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Cut tofu in 2 rectangular pieces.
    Step 2
    Remove excess moisture from tofu with paper towel and roll tofu in flour.
    Step 3
    Heat 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the tofu until golden brown.
    Step 4
    Place the fried tofu on paper towels to remove excess oil.
    Step 5
    Make the sauce: Combine together soy sauce, lemon juice, and 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Add the chopped red onion and cilantro, sweetener, and a few drops of sesame oil. Beat with a whisk.
    Step 6
    Add the grated fresh ginger root and garlic to the resulting sauce.
    Step 7
    Pour the sauce over the fried tofu. Add cherry tomatoes on top. Serve and enjoy!
