Recipe Details:Duck meat has very distinct flavor, so those, who love duck will really enjoy these tender diabetic-friendly cutlets made from duck breast.
- Duck breast (skin on, cut into medium pieces) – 1 lb.
- Whole wheat bread – 2 slices
- Almond milk – ½ cup
- Egg – 1
- Mediu onion – 2
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Whole wheat breadcrumbs – 1 tbsp.
- Samolina – 1 tbsp.
- Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
Recipe Directions:Step 1
Pass the duck meat, onion and garlic through a meat grinder. Leave the skin on – the fat will melt perfectly during frying, and will make the cutlets tender and juicy.
Remove the crust from the bread and soak the bread in milk.
Squeeze the milk out of the bread and add to the meat. Also add the egg, semolina, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
Mix well and beat the minced meat with your hands so that it becomes homogeneous and fluffy. Form the cutlets.
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the cutlets on both sides until golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!
