Ingredients:
  • Chicken breast (skinless and boneless) – 1 lb.
  • Chicken eggs – 2
  • Corn flakes – 2 cups
  • Italian seasoning – 1¼ tbsp.
  • Onion powder – 1 ¼ tbsp.
  • Garlic powder – 1¼ tbsp.
  • Water – 1/8 cup
  • For the sauce:
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese – 7 slices
  • Marinara sauce – 0.5 cup
  • Pesto 1/3 cup
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
Beat the chicken breast with a meat hammer to 0.5” thick and then cut each piece in half.
    Step 2
Combine and mix the eggs and water in a bowl.
    Step 3
Put the corn flakes in a large bowl and crumble them into smaller pieces with your hands.
    Step 4
Dip the pieces of chicken breast into the eggs and water mixture. Then dip the chicken breast pieces into the corn flakes. Make sure each piece of chicken is covered in the flakes completely.
    Step 5
Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the pieces of chicken on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the spices on the each piece of chicken.
    Step 6
Bake the chicken for about half an hour. Then take the chicken out of the oven and cover with the mozzarella and the sauces. Return the chicken to the oven until the cheese melts. Then remove the ready dish from the oven, serve and enjoy!
