Recipe Details:
This is a quick, easy, and diabetic-friendly way to cook a turkey dinner or lunch for a whole family any time of year!


Ingredients:
  • Turkey fillet – 1lb.
  • Chicken egg – 1
  • Bell pepper – 1
  • Tomatoes – 4
  • Carrot – 1
  • Zucchini – 1
  • Oatmeal – 1 cup
  • Olive oil – 6 tbsp.
  • Celery – 1 stalk
  • Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
  • Parsley and dill – to taste
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Cut the turkey filet into 2-3 slices and beat them lightly with a meat hammer. Salt and pepper the meat.
    Step 2
    Cut the zucchini, carrot, bell pepper and celery into medium pieces. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and chop the parsley and dill.
    Step 3
    Beat the egg and brush over the pieces of turkey breast, then roll them in the oatmeal.
    Step 4
    Fry the turkey breast on both sides in oil. Cover and cook until internal temperature reaches 160 F.
    Step 5
    Fry the vegetables in oil for 3 minutes. Then simmer them, covered, until tender (about 8 minutes).
    Step 6
    Serve the turkey steaks on a plate with the vegetables, garnished with the chopped parsley and dill.
