Recipe Details:A simple everyday salad that is filling, diabetics-friendly, and a great source of omega-3 fatty acids.
- Canned tuna – 7 Oz
- Cherry tomatoes (cut in halves) – 3/4 cup
- Lettuce (chopped) – 4 leaves
- Canned corn – 7 Oz
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
- Sliced olives (optional) – 3 Oz
- Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
Recipe Directions:Step 1
Knead the tuna with a fork.
Put the kneaded tuna into a salad bowl. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Add the chopped lettuce and corn to the salad bowl.
If desired, add sliced olives.
Dress the salad with olive oil. Mix well. Serve and enjoy!
